BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will work on the Product Management team.  They will utilize 3+ years of product development as well as 5+ years in mortgage servicing experience in the role. The role will work closely with Product Managers and Internal teams and External clients to gather and translate business requirements into technical requirements for product solutions and/or client implementations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into technical documentation by collaborating with management and/or business users.
  • Maintain concise and complete records of product changes for the change cycle.
  • Participate in meetings with team members or clients.
  • Coordinate the analysis, logic requirements, requirement validation related to the implementation of new or changed laws/statutes.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Assist with creating procedures and documentation of processes.

 

Desired Competencies:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in the Product Development and/or Management, developing and implementing technology solutions and performing process redesign and workflow analysis, defining and documenting business requirements.
  • 5+ years’ Mortgage Servicing experience with Mortgage Servicing Black Knight’s business environment and the Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) application development environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with Tableau, Microsoft SQL, SharePoint, or rules engine configuration a plus.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent activities while managing user expectations.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment without daily oversight.
  • BKI Data familiarity a plus.
 

Education and Experience: 

The ideal candidate should be a highly successful mortgage servicing professional with at least 3 years of experience in the Mortgage Technology or Servicing Sector. The candidate should bring the following:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields or comparable experience and training
  2. Current or prior experience documenting requirements, procedures, or policies
 

Work Authorization:

Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
