Requirements:

Responsible for the accounting of all transaction entry, including journal entries and accounting classifications under the accrual basis of accounting
Performs accounting work including compilation and consolidation of financials for multiple entities
Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely
Work closely with 3rd party financial systems, resources, and auditors to ensure the books accurately reflect all transactions
Analysis and research of complex accounting issues or transactions related to foreign subsidiaries, multi-currency, revenue recognition, and capitalized software
Oversee the inter-company process including the analysis and preparation of elimination and adjustment entries for consolidations
Prepare and reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and associated depreciation and amortization schedules
Perform ad-hoc projects, analysis, and other tasks as necessary
Responsible of AP and AR process
Perform and prepare bank reconciliations
Complete month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance
5+ years demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and accounting related positions in multi-national countries using multiple currencies
Knowledge of GAAP, U.S. accounting practices, and India accounting practices
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and external audit processes/requirements
Proficient with QuickBooks Online
Proficient in MS Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment without daily oversight.
