Job Requirements:

  • Develop and own complex Analytics ETL and ELT data pipelines in the cloud using modern data methods and principles.
  • Design data workflows to ingest and transform data in a way that can be analyzed to generate insights fast and efficiently.
  • Create Azure Data Factory processes for SQL and NoSQL data pipelines, and work in Azure SQL, to create tables, views, stored procedures, and other database objects.
  • Collaborate with software, design, and product teams as part of the delivery cycle to create amazing products and experiences that are seamless and flawless.
  • Participate in the testing process including code reviews, manual testing, and unit testing.
  • Assist with deployments and managing of SQL and NoSQL databases, and ETL processes.
  • Identify technical issues (performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, system defects) in data and software, perform root cause analysis, and communicate results effectively to the development team and other stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations on opportunities and improvements and participate in technology and analytics proof-of-concepts.
  • Create detailed documentation that empowers other engineers and customers.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience developing modern Data warehouses like Teradata, SnowFlake, Redshift, DataBricks, or Synapse Analytics.
  • 5 years’ experience with ETL software like SSIS, Informatica, or other popular data pipeline.
  • 2 years’ experience working in Microsoft Azure and SQL Server
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, or an understanding of the concepts of Agile software development.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication, organization, technical, and project management skills.
